I wonder why Pakistan is facing a huge brain drain. If you ask most of the educated class that what do they want for their future, majority will respond to settle abroad where they can foresee their life and career growing. One can have many valid reasons to justify the fact, quality life which obviously is better than Pakistan, others are economic crisis and high rate of terrorism is actually dragging every individual in a situation to think twice whether to live or die in Pakistan. Security is one area that is pushing Pakistan down the drain.
Unfortunately or fortunately the Government has also been unable to convince these ready individuals to live in Pakistan anymore. Moreover, they have not been able to realize the severity of the issue. Every year thousands of individuals and graduates produced by the country, or in other words the country actually prepare these individuals to add value to some other country. The feeling of insecure life compels a common man to migrate. The migration of these young Pakistani skilled individuals such as Doctors, Engineers, MBAs, CFAs, Chartered Accountants etc is on the peak. These individuals have completely lost hope in the political and economic future of the country. The greatest of all effects seen in Pakistan today, like corruption, dishonesty, bad administration and above all the political leadership are too few examples.
I somehow support these individuals just for the investment they made on their education. It is their due share to gain maximum benefit out of their education. Seeking a good career is their first and foremost right.
On the other hand, we cannot have long term growth if we keep on gifting our young lot to the west. These exported individuals with knowledge are not utilized in their own homeland but somewhere else. What is the future of Pakistan, will it be the maja saja and kajas who will run the country or will it be the bureaucrats who will eventually ruin the nation.
Are we letting this uneducated class to play and leaving educated class away to lead and perform? Should we say a crying Good Bye to Pakistan, or wait for the time when our dear country will be able to grow and compete with other countries and able to see a better tomorrow. Whatever the solution it has to come fast otherwise "Good Bye Pakistan".
